WHAT IS PHOTOMONITOR

PhotoMonitor is a selection of web resources, documents and links for students of photography, professional photographers and anyone loving photography. The directory is curated by David Cirese, professional photographer, teacher of Darkroom Theory and Technique at the Istituto Superiore di Fotografia e Comunicazione Integrata (www.isfci.com) and director of NeT-ArT Network.

You can browse PhotoMonitor categories and search , or see an index of all the pages in the map of the site.

Many of the listed documents are .pdf files and they need Adobe Acrobat Reader (freeware) to be opened; other documents are .doc files and you can download free software AbiWord or Open Office to open it.

Documents listed in PhotoMonitor are external links and their contents are not under our property or our responsibility: for copyright information you must see inside each document or you must contact the author. PhotoMonitor is not responsible for violations of the copyright deriving from an improper use of listed documents, therefore as for possible violations committed by the authors. At this time we don't publish news about exhibitions and other photography events, anyway you can post your press release to the appropriate Forum.

WEBSITE SUBMISSION, LINKS EXCHANGE
Our main directory is reserved to technical resources and websites offering documents and utilities for students of photography and professional photographer (see below). Anyway, you can submit other photo sites (for example, personal sites of photographers, photo galleries, etc.) to the Links section (reciprocal link is required)

SUBMISSION OF TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL RESOURCES

You can submit websites offering resources, documents and utilities for students of photography and professional photographer by sending email containing title, url and description of the site. You can also submit a single document, tutorial, manual or other interesting pages inside a website (in this case, please also send the exact url of document and the name of the author). Not all the submissions will be included in PhotoMonitor because we are very selective. Websites admitted to the directory will be informed by email and reciprocal linking is not required (although it will be appreciated)
